OUR COMPANY

Roy Geske, pictured below, started Geske and Sons's Asphalt paving in the 1950's after gaining many years of road construction experience as the Nunda Township highway commissioner. In the early years of the business the services of the company mainly included hauling gravel and sealcoating driveways. In the 1960's howerever, Geske and Sons work expanded to include paving roads and private parking lots. In the mid 1960's the business was taken over by Roy Geske's two sons Leroy and Larry Geske.

Currently, Geske and Sons has grown as a leader in paving services for public work with counties, townships, municipalities and the state of Illinois in Northeast Illinois along with a strong portfolio of private jobs as well. Leroy and Larry Geske as active owners of the company, have created many strong and long lasting relationships with commercial, industrial and public sector clients. Our combined experience and expertise provide us with the means to take care of all your paving needs.

1950's - Company started by Roy Geske hauling gravel and sealcoating

1960's - Company begins to pave roads and parking lots

1965 - Leroy and Larry Geske take over Geske and Sons

1982 - Company becomes state qualified

1982 - Company opens first asphalt plant out of Crystal Lake

1995 - Coral Lake Sand and Gravel opens in Marengo
